Our review of the dating site NewHoney

Are you looking for a site where you can meet partners for casual sex with no strings attached? Then look no further than NewHoney.com, which boasts over 36 million members worldwide. To find out what really lies behind their elegant interface, we tested New Honey and here’s what we found.

Presentation of the New Honey website

The site New Honey is operated by Interdate SA, which also owns C-Date. New Honey was originally known as Lisa18, but it has rebranded with a new name and logo to meet the demands of a wider audience. However, it remains a casual dating site, where single people and couples can come to spice up their sex lives.
New Honey now boasts a modern and elegant interface. The sleek appearance of the platform and the white and gold design give it a pleasingly premium feel.

Main features

New Honey has some features that are worth highlighting, such as the erotic gallery available on members’ profiles, which allows users to describe their type by selecting up to five photos from the gallery. Contact suggestions are also a plus for New Honey members. Rather than overwhelming you with potential contacts, every day the site puts forward a selection of between two and five. This makes the process more manageable and you can take the time to get to know each suggested person.
One of NewHoney.com’s real strengths is guaranteed contacts. There is nothing more disheartening than signing up to a dating site and never getting a contact request, especially when you are paying for the privilege! To avoid this frustration, New Honey has put in place a contact guarantee. The site guarantees five contact requests for a three month subscription, 15 for a six month subscription and 30 for a 12 month subscription.

Subscription prices and plans

Registration on the site is free for everyone and women can use the site for free. However, men need to sign up for a paying subscription to make full use of the platform. They need this to:
See the full profiles of other members;
See photos in full size;
View other members’ erotic galleries;
Read direct message in full;
Receive unlimited contact requests;
Add an unlimited number of members to favourites.
In short, the free version of the site for men is only really for having a look at the platform and getting an overview of its features. To really start getting matches, you have to buy one of the following packages:
Subscription plan Monthly Cost Total
1-month plan 3 GBP 3 GBP
3-month plan 9.99 GBP 29.97 GBP
6-month plan 7.99 GBP 47.94 GBP
At the end of the contract, the subscription is automatically renewed. To cancel the automatic renewal, a request must be made at least one month before the end of the current subscription period.
Using the site
Like for most sites of its kind, it is quick and simple to join New Honey, taking no more than five to ten minutes to create an account and access the platform. To set up your profile, New Honey will ask you for the following seven things:
Your height
Body type (slim, medium, athletic, a few extra pounds or full figure)
Hair colour (blonde, brown, red, white, black or bald)
Hair length (short, mid-length or long)
Eye colour (blue, brown, black, green or grey)
Three character traits that best describe you
Three things you like best about your body
After that, you will be asked to answer a few questions about what you are looking for and your sexual preferences. These answers will be used to match you up with other members. To complete your registration, you then have to validate your email address before accessing the platform.
Using the New Honey site is fairly simple and intuitive. The horizontal menu, presented in the form of a black bar at the top allows you to access the different features: Contacts, Mailbox, Help, Profile, Correspondence, Visitors and Like.
At the bottom of the page, there are other tabs against a gold background. These buttons show you matching results, the number of visitors to your profile and your favourites.
To facilitate contact requests and instant communication, the list of online members is displayed on the right of the screen. If one of the online members catches your eye, you just have to click on them to access their profile page. You can then start up a conversation with a message or add them to your favourites.
The site New Honey does not have a mobile application, but it does have a fully optimized version, making it perfectly possible to use it on a smartphone or tablet. This allows you to stay in contact with your favourite members wherever you are.

Customer service and security

The NewHoney dating site is reasonably secure and your identity is protected. For example, you can blur photos in your gallery, and you have to validate an email address to access the site. Most importantly, the site is encrypted to ensure information and conversations on the site remain confidential.
A help section is available with answers to the most frequently asked questions. However, if you can’t find what you are looking for in the FAQ section, you can contact customer service directly by email. It is not possible to contact the service by phone.

Why sign up to NewHoney.com

If you’re looking for erotic or even downright dirty fun, New Honey is the place for you, with its wide community of uninhibited members. Everyone is there to a good time without judgment, so you can be sure of a warm welcome. If you’re looking for love, however, this site is not for you. It is completely geared towards no strings attached sex.

Our opinion on NewHoney.com

New Honey is an easy-to-use and enjoyable site. The community is dynamic and nothing is taboo, which makes the platform a pleasure to use. It’s a shame the messaging feature is not better developed to facilitate more online fun, given that many of the members of this vast community are not nearby.
